 बाल - विकास की प्रक्रिया का वर्णन करते समय विकास की विभिन्न अवस्थाओं (सोपानों)पर विचार करना आवश्यक है । यद्यपि विचारकों  में विकास के विभिन्न सोपानों(Stages) के विषय में मतभेद है किंतु सामान्य रूप से सभी ने मानव विकास को निम्नांकित अवस्थाओ में विभाजित किया है:- 1. प्रारंभिक बाल्यकाल जन्म से 12 वर्ष की आयु तक। 2. पूर्व किशोरावस्था 12 से 16 वर्ष की आयु तक । 3. किशोरावस्था 16 से 21 वर्ष की आयु तक। 4. व्यस्कावस्था 21 वर्ष के बाद । कुछ मनोवैज्ञानिकों ने प्रारंभिक बाल्यकाल को निम्नलिखित शीर्षकों में विभाजित किया है:- 1. शैशव(Infancy)- जन्म से 3 वर्ष की आयु तक 2.पूर्व बाल्यकाल (Pre-Childhood) - 3 वर्ष से 6 वर्ष की आयु तक। 3. उत्तर - बाल्यकाल ( Late Childhood) -6 से 12 वर्ष की आयु तक । उपर्युक्त अवस्थाओं का सुविधाजनक अध्ययन करने के लिए डॉ. अर्नेस्ट जोन्स (Dr. Earnest jones ) द्वारा किया गया विकास की अवस्थाओं का विभाजन अधिक उपयुक्त माना गया है । इनके  अनुसार मनुष्य का विकास 4 सुस्पष्ट अवस्थाओं में होता है:- 1. शैशवावस्था (Infancy) - जन्म से 5 या 6 वर्ष, 2. बाल्यावस्था (Childhood)...

  Brainstorming -    Before some one start writing,He will think about what to write,,or how to write. This is called brainstorming. When a writer brainstorm for ideas, he will try to come up  with as many ideas as he can. Doesn't worry about whether or not they are good or bad ideas. He could brainstorm by creating a list of ideas that he came up with ,or drawing a map and diagram, or just writing down whatever he could think of without thinking about grammar. Think of this like  the erratic thunder and lighting that comes from a thunderstorm.
