learning indicators for listening and speaking
Learning Indicators show class-wise progression in various dimensions of learning. They facilitate in curriculum transactions/ strategies i.e. pedagogy. Learning Indicators are based on the premise that learning is a process in which the children are actively involved. Teachers also adapt their teaching as per the children's needs. From Curricular Expectations to Learning Indicators, the long- term goal is achieved through short-term goals Indicated as Learning Indicators.
Learning indicators for listening in primary level are -
1. Listens to English words and sentences used in class/school, and responds in home language/English.
2. Follows simple greetings and polite forms of expression in English. c. Follows different sounds of English language through repetition and indicating.
3. Follows the story and is able to respond to simple comprehension questions in it.
4. Responds to English words and sentences used in class/school, in home language/English.
5. Shows interest in listening to experiences of her peers and others in English and home language.
6. Responds to questions asked on textual material/ narrated stories in English/ home language.
7. Enjoys rhyme and rhythm of poems and sings aloud.
8. Understands announcements made in school and in the neighbourhood.
9. Responds to different kinds of instructions/ orders/ requests/ questions.
10. Listens to and engages in conversation with people from the community.
11. Takes dictation of small paragraphs, lists of things, etc. e.g.
12. Comprehends narrations, descriptions, speeches, debates.
13. Follows rules of games/sports of their age-group, etc.
Learning indicators for speaking in primary level are-
1. Talks about self using simple sentences in English and home language/sign language.
2. Uses words as per context. Looks at the objects/pictures and gives the words.
3. Talks about situations/pictures/images in English and home language.
4. Asks questions about things around her. Recites rhymes/poems /sangs in groups and individually and through acting out.
5.Looks at the pictures and tells the story in her words.
6. Speaks about situations/pictures/images in English and home language
7. Engages in conversation in English and home language with friends, teachers, and family using simple sentences and responses.
8. Makes requests, uses greetings and polite forms of expression.
9. Expresses her likes and dislikes.
10. Asks questions about things around her.
11. Says phrases/dialogues from stories/plays. Retells main idea of the story/ play.
12. Uses grammatically correct sentences to describe/narrate.
13. Gives description of the place/the locality where she lives, and shows the way or guides if anyone asks for directions, etc.
प्रश्न 1-सुनने और बोलने के लिए सीखने के संकेतक क्या हैं?
सीखने के संकेतक सीखने के विभिन्न आयामों में कक्षावार प्रगति दिखाते हैं। वे पाठ्यचर्या लेनदेन/रणनीतियों अर्थात शिक्षाशास्त्र में सुविधा प्रदान करते हैं। सीखने के संकेतक इस आधार पर आधारित हैं कि सीखना एक ऐसी प्रक्रिया है जिसमें बच्चे सक्रिय रूप से शामिल होते हैं। शिक्षक भी बच्चों की जरूरतों के अनुसार अपने शिक्षण को अनुकूलित करते हैं। पाठ्यचर्या की अपेक्षाओं से लेकर सीखने के संकेतकों तक, दीर्घकालिक लक्ष्य को सीखने के संकेतक के रूप में इंगित अल्पकालिक लक्ष्यों के माध्यम से प्राप्त किया जाता है।
प्राथमिक स्तर पर सुनने के लिए सीखने के संकेतक हैं -
1. कक्षा/विद्यालय में प्रयुक्त अंग्रेजी शब्दों और वाक्यों को सुनता है, और घरेलू भाषा/अंग्रेजी में जवाब देता है।
2. अंग्रेजी में सरल अभिवादन और अभिव्यक्ति के विनम्र रूपों का अनुसरण करता है। सी। दोहराव और संकेत के माध्यम से अंग्रेजी भाषा की विभिन्न ध्वनियों का अनुसरण करता है।
3. कहानी का अनुसरण करता है और इसमें सरल समझ के सवालों का जवाब देने में सक्षम है।
4. कक्षा/विद्यालय में प्रयुक्त अंग्रेजी शब्दों और वाक्यों का घरेलू भाषा/अंग्रेज़ी में उत्तर देना।
5. अंग्रेजी और घरेलू भाषा में अपने साथियों और अन्य लोगों के अनुभवों को सुनने में रुचि दिखाती है।
6. पाठ्य सामग्री पर पूछे गए प्रश्नों के उत्तर/अंग्रेजी/घर की भाषा में सुनाई गई कहानियां।
7. कविताओं की तुकबंदी और लय का आनंद लेता है और जोर से गाता है।
8. स्कूल और आस-पड़ोस में की गई घोषणाओं को समझता है।
9. विभिन्न प्रकार के निर्देशों/आदेशों/अनुरोधों/प्रश्नों का उत्तर देता है।
10. समुदाय के लोगों को सुनता है और उनके साथ बातचीत करता है।
11. छोटे पैराग्राफ, चीजों की सूची आदि का श्रुतलेख लेता है उदा।
12. कथन, विवरण, भाषण, वाद-विवाद को समझता है।
13. अपने आयु वर्ग के खेल/खेल आदि के नियमों का पालन करता है।
प्राथमिक स्तर पर बोलने के लिए सीखने के संकेतक हैं-
1. अंग्रेजी और घरेलू भाषा / सांकेतिक भाषा में सरल वाक्यों का उपयोग करके स्वयं के बारे में बात करना।
2. संदर्भ के अनुसार शब्दों का उपयोग करता है। वस्तुओं/चित्रों को देखता है और शब्द देता है।
3. अंग्रेजी और घरेलू भाषा में स्थितियों/चित्रों/छवियों के बारे में बात करता है।
4. अपने आसपास की चीजों के बारे में सवाल पूछती है। समूहों में और व्यक्तिगत रूप से और अभिनय के माध्यम से तुकबंदी/कविता/गाने का पाठ करता है।
5. चित्रों को देखता है और उसके शब्दों में कहानी कहता है।
6. अंग्रेजी और घरेलू भाषा में स्थितियों/चित्रों/छवियों के बारे में बोलता है
7. सरल वाक्यों और प्रतिक्रियाओं का उपयोग करके मित्रों, शिक्षकों और परिवार के साथ अंग्रेजी और घरेलू भाषा में बातचीत में संलग्न होना।
8. अनुरोध करता है, अभिवादन और अभिव्यक्ति के विनम्र रूपों का उपयोग करता है।
9. अपनी पसंद और नापसंद को व्यक्त करता है।
10. अपने आसपास की चीजों के बारे में सवाल पूछती है।
11. कहानियों/नाटकों से वाक्यांश/संवाद कहते हैं। कहानी/नाटक के मुख्य विचार को फिर से बताता है।
12. वर्णन / वर्णन करने के लिए व्याकरणिक रूप से सही वाक्यों का उपयोग करता है।
13. वह जहां रहती है, उस जगह/इलाके का विवरण देती है, और अगर कोई दिशा-निर्देश मांगता है तो रास्ता या गाइड दिखाता है।
